Marcus de la Fleur is an American landscape architect who has developed a series of principles of innovative and responsible treatment of rainwater in and around the home garden.
De la Fleur, who obtained a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture at the University of Sheffield, has installed green roofs and rain barrels in two corners of the house in Elmhurst, Illinois. Other innovations include a porous pavement, through which rainwater can infiltrate and a rain garden.
