Varsha Halabe

Varsha Halabe is an assistant landscape architect working for Scott Wilson in Abingdon.

Varsha initially studied architecture in India before completing a masters degree in Landscape Architecture and Regional Planning at the University of Massachusetts.

After finishing her post-graduate degree, Varsha worked in the United States before joining Scott Wilson. She is currently working on a wide range of projects, including a historic park restoration and landscape and visual assessments where she analyses the impact of proposed schemes.

She says: “When I came to the UK, I was introduced into this wide spectrum of things where everything from ecology, hydrology, planning, landscape, architecture even, is covered. We landscape architects are responsible for all these things.

"Landscape architecture is the profession to be in right now because you’re going to play a very important role in careing for the whole environment  and the landscape of the whole planet. It is really important.
